About Pinterest Marketing

Questions About Whether Pinterest Is Right?

Wondering if Pinterest is right for your business or how it actually works? Start here.

Yes! If you’re looking to expand or include an evergreen marketing arm for your business, it’s a fit.

If you want to improve your SEO and discoverability, Pinterest is an important platform to include.

If you’re still not sure, I always recommend using the Pinterest search bar to type in terms people would use to find your business. What do you find?

Pinterest is a long-term marketing strategy that needs time to work. It is recommended to give Pinterest a full year to see results.

That said, you will see growth after 3 months, with even more happening between 6 and 9 months.

No! That is one of the best parts about using Pinterest for marketing – you do not need to be active or show up to engage.

Pinterest is a search engine that doesn’t depend on being present.

While it is recommended to have some long-form content, it is not imperative that it be in blog format.

Many clients drive traffic to other parts of their website, YouTube, and podcast player pages.

Ideally, clients should have at least 5 pieces of long-form content with a plan to create more as we move forward.

Yes! If there is searches, there is potential. Plus you can build discovery and traffic to services, sales pages, and guides.

Service-based businesses absolutely find success on Pinterest. I recommend having your goals, services, and funnels ready to go.

Questions about My Pinterest Services

Pinterest account management is for business owners who want strategy and implementation taken off their plate.

The Pinterest Circulation Blueprint is an account optimization and strategy service for businesses wanting it set up right, but will grow it themselves or internally.

Pinterest strategy and consulting is for businesses who need an expert to come in to form a strategy and guide the business through growth. The implelmentation work is DIY.

Deciding on what service to go with means reviewing how involved you want to be in your Pinterest strategy. How much learning do you want to do?

I work in all niches across numerous industries. Yes, there are popular Pinterest niches, but I also work in lesser-known areas.

Yes! I’m always open to discussing which service or support best fits your needs and business.

For pausing services, I request a conversation to understand the reasons.

Management services are a 6-month commitment with no refunds. After 6 months, the service moves to a month-over-month billing model.

I request 30 days’ notice to end services, as it allows me to stop pin production.

For all other services, payment is made before service begins and are not refundable.

Pinterest consulting offers custom packages tailored to your needs and goals.

Some packages are multi-session, and others are single. Ideally, we have a discovery call to see what works.

For Pinterest account management, you can rest assured that your account strategy is being implemented and updates are sent as needed. The most intensive part is onboarding, during which I learn about your business and goals. That lasts about a week.

For the Pinterest Circulation Blueprint, there is onboarding, followed by implementation.

For Pinterest consulting, it depends on the goals.

If you already have a Pinterest account, I’ll confirm it’s a business account and change it if it isn’t. We are good to use that same account.

If you’re starting from scratch, I’ll create a business account for you.

Since I run a boutique Pinterest agency, I’m open to custom packages. This does require a discovery call to understand your needs.

In the future, I’ll be offering Pinterest workshops as a 4th service offering.

About Processes & timelines

Questions & Answers about my process

What happens after we start working together, timelines, and communication?

Onboarding for any service typically takes a few days to one week.

I am available via email during business hours. I don’t work weekends, but I will reply when I’m back. I ask for 24 hours to reply. I don’t cap client communication and love speaking with all my clients regularly.

You’ll receive a monthly progress report that includes analytics, account health, and future strategy plans.

You take the account back over, knowing that it has been set up correctly.

You then book your strategy support calls as needed over a 6-month timeframe that begins once the blueprint is delivered.

For Pinterest account management, the minimum commitment is 6 months. Then the service moves to month-to-month.

For the Pinterest Circulation Blueprint, the commitment is also 6 months, with you doing the implementation and receiving support through strategy calls.

For Pinterest consulting, commitment is based on custom package details. Discovery call to determine what those are.

I create pin templates that you approve during onboarding. These are used to create all pin creatives during Pinterest account management. Pin templates are created using Canva Pro.

Yes! Branding details, including fonts and colours, are collected during the onboarding process.

However, if you’re open to it, I would love to test non-branded pins since Pinterest users are cold and not connected to any branding (in other words, they don’t know you yet!).

Creating non-branded pins lets me test those I know will rank well, based on the research I do into the design elements of high-ranking pins.

This is not a requirement. If having braded pins is important, I will do that.

There are 4 key metrics that I track. If there is growth, traffic, and increased discoverability, the Pinterest strategy is working. It will also depend on how much time is invested.

Pinterest results also rely on content optimization and an understanding of how to capture people into your business ecosystem.

For Pinterest account management clients, I interpret and communicate about analytics in your monthly progress report.

For all other services, I show you what to look at and how.

Questions about Pinterest Service Pricing

For Pinterest account management, service packages start at $750.

For the Pinterest Circulation Blueprint, the investment is $850, one-time.

For Pinterest consulting and strategy, service packages start at $597.

At this time, I do not offer payment plans given the nature of my business.

There are no onboarding or setup fees at this time.

All service details supplied during a discovery call or email proposal are included in the quoted fee.

questions about results

Questions about Pinterest results

What to expect, realistic timelines, and how success is measured.

I always tell clients to allow 6-9 months of consistency before achieving the results they desire.

This can fluctuate as Pinterest has an algorithm that updates and changes, but results should happen during the timeframe mentioned above.

Expected results depend on your business niche.

Some areas of business perform better than others. It’s ideal to reach out to get an idea of results for your individual business.

It is not possible to guarantee results or traffic numbers. Actually, if you speak to anyone that does, it’s a red flag.

I measure success by certain account growth metrics coupled with traffic and discoverability growth.

I am cautious to say it won’t work for your business.

This is because I view Pinterest as a marketing asset that grows over time through consistency.

I think of your long-form content as an asset that Pinterest keeps in circulation.

If having marketing that keeps working even when you’re not able to is important to you, then Pinterest will work for your business.
